Absolutely. While the term pasture-raised can describe a variety of farming setups, we believe it's important to look at how hens actually live. At Sunnyside, all 12 of our partner farms raise hens in small flocks and outdoor mobile coops that move across fresh pasture. Instead of keeping thousands of hens in one stationary barn with outdoor access, our coops move regularly so our girls have access to fresh ground, room to roam, and the freedom to scratch and forage. We believe that's what pasture-raised should look like.

Sunnyside eggs are not currently certified organic. However, we do use exclusively certified organic feed once our hens are placed on our partner layer farms. We also follow organic farming practices on our pastures and never spray them with chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides. We're committed to being thoughtful about what our hens eat and the land they spend their days on.

You can find Sunnyside eggs at retail locations across Tennessee, Kentucky, Southern California, and Northern Utah, with more locations being added as we continue to grow throughout the South and Midwest in 2026 and 2027. Our hens are fed exclusively certified organic feed once they arrive at our partner layer farms. Their feed is made without corn or soy and includes ingredients like barley, peas, sunflower, sesame, and wheat, along with essential vitamins and minerals. We believe taking care of our hens starts with paying attention to what's in their feed.

Regenerative egg farming looks beyond simply producing eggs. It's about raising hens in a way that works alongside the land, rather than against it. At Sunnyside, our mobile coops move across fresh pasture, allowing hens to forage while helping distribute their natural nutrients across the land.
